Rajesh Nayak is a product security leader with deep expertise at the intersection of embedded systems, medical device security, and AI Safety and Security. With a career spanning product security engineering, enterprise information security and commissioned service as an Information Warfare Officer where he led intelligence-driven security operations across a major command, he brings an operational lens to the technical challenges that define modern connected systems and IoT ecosystem.

His current work focuses on the security of medical devices across their full lifecycle, from hardware-level threat identification, embedded/IoT system security,  and AI security to regulatory alignment and vulnerability intelligence. He is particularly interested in how emerging attack surfaces and technologies including 5G, side-channel analysis, fault injection, and AI risks translate into real-world clinical risk, system safety risk & operational readiness.

A practitioner-researcher by orientation, he contributes to the security community through frameworks, academic preprints, and conference engagement, with the goal of advancing the field’s collective maturity in securing critical systems.
